Customer Rating: Summary: Rescue me 4th year Comment: This years' series is not as good as previous years. Bought it thinking that it would be.
Customer Rating: Summary: Fourth time was not a charm Comment: After watching the previous seasons, I couldnt wait for number four, in actuality, I could have waited for number four!
The series seems to be going the way of all series that lose their way after a few seasons..(ala the Sopranos), the writers need to go back to review what made the series a success in seasons one through three.
Dont get me wrong,if you like Denis Leary, you can tolerate this season, but there needs to be a five alarm wake up call for the writers!!!
Please Rescue Me with a great Fifth Season!
Customer Rating: Summary: not amenable for hard of hearing viewers Comment: the basic story line is enjoyable if you have followed it from the beginning. The DVD does not have closed captioning which makes it difficult for the hard of hearing.
Customer Rating: Summary: Excellent Series Comment: This is an excellent 4th series with plenty of laughs as usual. Can't wait for Season 5!!
Customer Rating: Summary: As Good As The Other Seasons Comment: I can't stand Dennis Leary as a comedian, however he is excellent as Tommy Gavin. He has found his nitch.

An arson investigation following the beach house fire targets Tommy, Janet worries that her new baby doesn't like her, Colleen runs away from home, a not guilty verdict is delivered in Uncle Teddy's manslaughter trial, Jerry commits suicide, the crew from 62 Truck is savaged in the press for not being able to save seven children from dying in a tragic fire - it's another season of challenge and turbulence for Tommy and the guys.
